FAMILY PORTRAIT

Painting with my new watercolour muse; it all started a little while back, to 'Lost in the Woods'.

Yet her personal highlight comes in the form of my collection of storybooks illustrated by Stephen Cartwright - where we go hunting for his signature yellow duck.

I just love her family portraits though; herself, mom, dad and all three the dogs too.

Here is a reference from Christmas Day with her grandparents included - personally, I think she nailed it!

PS. Mom is a natural blonde, so no, she's not easily mislead.

The girl has great taste in music too; won't guess what we are listening to, right now?!? She's listening to Ray LaMontagne, 'You Are the Best Thing'. 

I'm smiling from ear to ear! Can see that her dad is a blues musician.

For supper, we had McDonald's. Not generally my thing, but it is genuinely her favourite - so how could I not join her for a feast on this happy occasion?

She's off to bed now, but first came to show me her new Mickey Mouse PJ's - clearly, over the moon!
