KITTEN PHOTO SHOOT

Over the weekend, I got a request for some pictures of the kittens, in order to make placements on the various responsible kitten rehoming sites. I promised them a photo shoot of the kittens but my week turned out a lot busier than expected. This morning while changing their bedding, I stole a moment to do so. Rather late than never, right?

It proved near impossible to keep mommy out of the shoot, a testimony of her incredible mommy instincts. 

They truly are blessed with an enormously affectionate, attentive, protective and caring mother.

They are still very young, and pretty much drink and sleep all day long.

As a result, their eyes will still need to adjust to the light to focus better, and their coordination is still out of sync too.

Here are the lot of them before mommy joined.

They were all sleeping when I thrust them into this impromptu photo shoot.

So clearly still confused and sleepy at this point.

A little later they started exploring more, and became very interested in their surroundings.

This little one in particular, was a lot more curious about me, than mommy.

It made a good model, as a result.

So curious, that it even approached me.

Clearly still unstable on it's feet, but determined none the less.

I think we had a mutual moment of love at first sight.

After I changed their bedding in the crate, and returned them to it, this little one tried to get out of the crate to investigate me more. 

Two others also tried clamouring out on the opposite side. I think it is only a matter of days before they will become mobile now.
