HE AIN'T HEAVY, HE'S MY BROTHER
Always said that my brother Sareltjie, who passed away as a child in a car accident, was the lucky one.
Even so, I'd be amiss if I didn't take this moment to thank God for the five brothers He still left me alive for company, camaraderie and friendship.
Especially after learning yesterday over a leisurely continental breakfast, I could have lost one, perhaps as many as four of them in one fell swoop, about two weeks ago. Thank God, he spared them still for now.

"If I'm laden at all, I'm laden with sadness that everyone's heart isn't filled with the gladness of love for one another. It's a long, long road from which there is no return. While we're on the way to there, why not share?"
